Biodiversity and climate change are closely linked. Climate change is a threat to biodiversity; it is, for example, the most important long-term danger to polar bears. Sustainable management of ecosystems is a way to counter-act climate change. Norway will continue to actively promote sustainable ecosystem management as we are all dependent on functioning ecosystems and their services for survival and well-being.
